Linda Mae Devor (McChristian), daughter of Noah McChristian and Ida Dugger (McCratic), was born on April 29, 1947, in Lincoln, Arkansas. A resident of Watts, Oklahoma, Linda departed this life on October 24, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a family who loved her dearly.
Linda was a woman who found happiness in life's simple pleasures and treasured the moments spent with those she loved. She shared many long and happy years of marriage with her beloved husband, Jim Devor. Together, they built a life filled with love, companionship, and memories that Linda held close to her heart even after his passing.
Linda enjoyed keeping her hands and mind busy. She loved working crossword puzzles, putting together jigsaw puzzles, and creating beautiful pieces through cross-stitching. These quiet pastimes brought her much enjoyment and were among the little things that made her days special. Sunday mornings held a special place in Linda's heart, as she faithfully watched Jimmy Swaggart's ministry. It was a cherished part of her weekly routine, and she rarely, if ever, missed a Sunday.
Above all else, Linda loved her family. Whether sharing a conversation, enjoying a visit, or simply being in the company of those closest to her, time spent with family was something she truly treasured. Her greatest blessings were found in the generations of loved ones who surrounded her, and the memories they made together will forever remain a part of her legacy.
Linda leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory, including her two daughters, Sandra McChristian of Watts, Oklahoma, and Beverly Ferguson and husband Michael of Jones, Oklahoma; one son, Rickey McChristian of Watts, Oklahoma; one granddaughter, Evelyn Bailey of Harrah, Oklahoma; six great-grandchildren, Shari, Rose, Emily, Kellie, Dallas, and Jeremiah; and one great-great-grandchild, Blakely. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jim Devor; her son, Randy Wrinkle; and her grandson, Richard McChristian Ray.
Though Linda's earthly journey has come to an end, the love she shared and the memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of her family. She will be remembered for her quiet joys, her devotion to those she loved, and the special place she held in the lives of all who knew her. Her presence will be deeply missed, but the love she leaves behind will remain forever.
